    Very good

Easy to find and two blocks from the ocean. The owner-operators are nice, and knowledgeable with local park information and take the time to give directions and draw maps. You can park right in front of your door - 1950s motor court design, with a slightly newer addition that's two stories. Compared to the other accommodations in this economically depressed area, it's fine for the price. The building is about 50 or 60 years old, but a lot of the features inside have been updated recently. But not everything, since it all costs money to replace and money does not grow on trees in this region. There's a Safeway supermarket about a mile south.

The bed is ok if you are able to sleep on nearly anything. I slept about 2 hours and spent the rest of the night wishing I could get comfortable. The motel is on US Highway 1, which is the only business route through Ft. Bragg. You will hear truck traffic periodically through the night. Once the trucks start rolling through town you will want to be out at the beach anyway. The room smelled musty, but, hey, you are in a climate where the temperature range is from 50 F to 70 F all year round, and the humidity is between 70% and 100% all year long. Nothing gets a chance to dry out. Bring your own food in a cooler, because the Continental Breakfast is sweet rolls in cellophane packages, toast, or two kinds of Kellogg cereal.

    Very good

The owner, Don, was very helpful in giving us a place to park our car and tent trailer together outside of our room to keep an eye on it. It was a good walk down to the North Coast Brewery restaurant for dinner, and Don suggested going to the Headlands Cafe for dessert/tea and listen to live jazz. He also told us about walking to the Glass Beach area 10 min. away. It was a low-key but enjoyable way to spend the evening in Fort Bragg (to break up our trip), and before leaving in the a.m., we went to Cafe 1(as in Hwy.1) for a good breakfast.

The bed, bedding, pillows were not very comfortable.

    Good

The owners, Don and Dottie were most helpful in maximizing the enjoyment of their community and it's attractions. Thanks to their advice, we enjoyed music with dinner and again at coffee shop after. The classic car show in the center of town was an unexpected bonus.

    Superb

It was in a good spot for our stay . Close to the things we were in town to see . It is a old place ,but kept up real nice . We were up graded to a suite , which made us happy . That was a first for us . The staff was very helpfull . We will return .

    Exceptional

Don and Dottie, the proprietors are wonderful. One million thumbs up. Do the attractions they suggest as they suggest it. They go above and beyond to make you comfortable.
